Classic Drycleaners is seeking an experienced professional tailor to alter, repair, fit, and finish garments to meet customer specifications and quality standards. The role requires precise sewing skills, attention to detail, and a strong focus on customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will measure, fit, and tailor garments, operate industrial sewing equipment, and maintain accurate order records to ensure on-time delivery and high workmanship quality.

Formación

• Professional tailoring, sewing, and garment alteration experience.
• Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and alteration techniques.
• Ability to accurately take measurements and perform fittings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Measure customers and mark garments for alterations.
• Perform alterations including shortening, tapering, resizing, zipper replacement, patching, and repairs.
• Conduct fittings and make adjustment recommendations.
• Operate commercial sewing machines, pressing equipment, and other tailoring tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect garments before and after alterations to ensure quality standards are met.
• Press and finish garments to provide a professional appearance.
• Communicate alteration requirements and completion timelines with customers and team members.
• Maintain accurate records of customer orders and alteration details.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship and speed of work.
