Role Overview

The CSR plays a vital role in the Alterations department, ensuring superior customer service by welcoming customers, managing appointments, answering phones, pressing garments, and preparing items for pickup. Reporting to the Store Manager, the CSR contributes to a seamless shopping and alteration experience.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers warmly via phone, chat, and in person, adapting communication style to meet their needs.
  • Manage customer flow using all systems to deliver a five-star experience.
  • Meet service vows: Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs, Be There, and operational tasks.
  • Handle multiple customers, address concerns confidently, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Promote alterations services and customization options.
  • Maintain store standards and high dress code standards.
  • Escort customers for alterations appointments, press and clean garments, and perform quality inspections.
  • Build customer relationships to foster satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Assist with inventory, process orders, and handle transactions accurately.
  • Support store cleanliness and organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Physical & Educational Requirements
  • Stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity for sewing, pressing, and POS operations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years retail experience; sewing experience is a plus; familiarity with POS systems.
