Alt Site Territory Sales Executive - CT and Westchester County

Position Overview

As the Alternate-Site Territory Sales Executive for Connecticut and Westchester County, you will manage and grow Cepheid's business in non-acute healthcare markets, introducing new diagnostic solutions and expanding market share for GeneXpert Systems and over 20 diagnostic tests, including the Xpert Xpress SARS-CoV-2/Flu/RSV.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers across various settings to generate leads, increase revenue, and reduce attrition.
  • Drive demand and adoption of new assays and instrumentation to meet sales targets and improve profit margins.
  • Collaborate with distributor sales teams to promote Cepheid products.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage customer activity and prioritize sales opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of healthcare sales experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years.
  • Proven success in selling premium-priced healthcare products.
Additional Requirements
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight within the territory.
Preferred Experience
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience in demand creation for innovative technologies.
  • Engagement with multiple call points in healthcare markets.
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary ranges from $90,000 to $105,000, with eligibility for bonuses and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and 401(k). The role supports remote work arrangements.
