Job summary

U.S. Bank in Minneapolis seeks a specialist to support the Asset Liability Management (ALM) team, focusing on balance sheet forecasting, interest-rate risk measurement, and reporting through business line and corporate level committees.

The role requires more than six years of applicable experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Onsite work three or more days per week with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the business line to comply with internal risk programs, policies, and regulatory guidance.
• Monitoring the program for proposed changes to translate through a risk-focused lens and assist in designing new control structures relevant to the changes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor in strategic initiatives to identify future risk profile changes and consult on approaches to absorb / measure/ limit risk.
• Support the business through internal reviews, audits, and exams.
• Assist in scoping and remediating any identified weaknesses or issues with regard to risk policies and program requirements.
