Job summary

Allianz US Life in Minneapolis seeks an Analyst on the ALM team to support monthly regulatory analyses, quarterly ALM model runs, governance controls, and to help automate workflows across teams for more efficient risk reporting.

You will deepen your knowledge of life insurance liability products and asset modeling, own key ALM processes, and collaborate with actuarial, portfolio management and finance to produce actionable insights for senior leadership and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of ALM or related financial services experience in life insurance.
• Modelling experience; familiarity with actuarial modelling preferred.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills suitable for an executive audience.
• Four year degree in a quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute recurring monthly regulatory ALM processes, such as PBR, including analysis, validation, and automation transition.
• Collaborate with actuarial, portfolio management, and finance teams to analyze asset and liability risks and deliver insights to senior leadership.
• Develop, maintain, and improve financial and risk models and ad hoc analyses to understand financial risks and outcomes.
• Identify inefficiencies and lead automation initiatives to integrate regulatory and strategic ALM analyses.
• Communicate effectively across internal teams to align analysis and support decision-making.
• Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance modeling and process automation.
