Job summary

Allianz US Life in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst on the ALM team. You will support management and analysis of assets and liabilities, run monthly regulatory ALM processes, and help automate workflows to improve accuracy and efficiency.

This role offers exposure to life insurance liabilities, asset modelling, and portfolio implications, with opportunities to advance to lead run processes and collaborate across actuarial, portfolio management, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in a quantitative field (math, engineering, economics, actuarial science).
• 2+ years in life insurance or financial services ALM.
• Strong written and verbal communication to executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute recurring monthly regulatory ALM processes (PBR) with analysis and automation.
• Collaborate with actuarial, portfolio management, and finance to analyze asset-liability risks.
• Develop and maintain financial and risk models and ad hoc analyses.
• Identify inefficiencies and lead automation initiatives for ALM analyses.
• Communicate insights across teams to support decision-making.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance modeling and automation.
