Job summary

Spott in East Flanders is seeking an all-around carpenter/joiner for on-site residential joinery and carpentry projects.

You will install wooden, PVC, and aluminum windows and doors, fit custom cabinets and interior doors on site, and handle stairs and occasional drywall work alongside the business owner. A VCA certificate is required, and English is sufficient; Dutch is an advantage.

This small joinery business in East Flanders specializes in interior and exterior carpentry for new construction and renovation projects.

The work includes windows, doors, custom cabinetry, facade cladding, gates, stairs, flooring, and drywall.

Custom cabinets and interior doors are made in its own workshop and installed on site.

Profile: All-around carpenter/joiner

Number of people needed: 1

Duration and end date: Long-term assignment

Rate per hour: up to €31 per hour

Work setting: On-site work only; no workshop duties

You will work alongside the business owner on a variety of residential joinery and carpentry projects.

The work spans installation and finishing, with projects involving different materials and products.

Custom cabinets and interior doors are prepared in the company’s workshop and brought to the site for installation.

The role is suited to a versatile person who can carry out site work independently.

English is sufficient for the role; Dutch is an advantage.

Daily Tasks

Install wooden, PVC, and aluminum windows and doors.

Fit ready-made custom cabinets and interior doors on site.

Install stairs and occasionally adjust or finish them on site.

Occasionally install glued flooring and carry out drywall work.

Working conditions

50 or more hours per week may be available.

Saturday work

Saturday work is possible.

Start of the day

Report to the depot first, then travel to the worksite.

Requirements
