Focused specifically on our Apparel and Accessories categories, you will own store-level inventory management through data-driven allocation strategies that support financial goals, improve sell-through, and deliver an exceptional in-store experience. This role works closely with cross-functional partners — including Merchandise Planning, Buying, Merchandising, Visual, and the Retail Field Team — to ensure the right product reaches the right stores, in the right quantities and sizes, at the right time.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Allocation & Inventory ManagementExecute store and size-level allocations for Apparel and Accessories categories across all domestic U.S. and Canada Skechers retail locationsMonitor and analyze inventory levels across the store network to maintain balance and alignment with business objectivesManage size breaks, size curves, and pack strategies to optimize sell-through and reduce overstock and stockout situationsSet up and maintain model stock replenishment for basic/core items, with ongoing adjustments based on sales shifts, promotions, and seasonal eventsManage warehouse inventory flow and limit out-of-season liability for Apparel and Accessories productAnalysis & ReportingAnalyze sales and inventory trends at the chain, store cluster, and individual store level to drive maximum performanceConduct pre-season, in-season, and post-season analysis to identify opportunities to maximize sales and marginReview store rankings, indices, size selling, and geographic/seasonal variation to inform allocation and replenishment strategiesDevelop and maintain selling and inventory reports; complete ad hoc reporting as needed to support current and future business decisionsPartner with Merchandise Planning to run size and color selling analyses to inform future buysCross-Functional PartnershipParticipate in monthly allocation strategy meetings with Merchandise Buyers and Merchandise PlannersCollaborate with Buying and Planning teams to ensure size breaks and buy quantities align with current sales trendsPartner with the Retail Field Team to communicate seasonal rollout timing, promotional updates, and business performance across domestic storesCommunicate regularly with the Distribution Center team on events that may impact inventory workflow (initial allocation rollouts, reserve releases, in-store promotions, etc.)Collaborate with Visual Merchandising and participate in weekly turnover meetingsFacilitate problem resolution with IT, Retail Operations, and Inventory Management teams as neededProcess & Systems ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve allocation systems, tools, and processes to drive greater efficiencySupport new store assortment setup and execute remodel store inventory plansInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including stockouts, overstock situations, and variances between physical counts and system recordsWHAT YOU'LL BRING:Advanced knowledge of retail math and inventory management principles. Familiar with retail KPIs such as sell-through, weeks of supply, and turnProactive approach to identifying and solving inventory challengesAttention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reportingStrong work ethic and organizational skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to summarize complex ideas concisely and communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
