Job summary

Hermès of Paris seeks an experienced Allocation Manager to join the Planning and Allocation team in New York. You will steer the strategic distribution of products, balance stock with demand, and drive data-driven allocation decisions across boutiques and channels.

You will lead pre-season and in-season plans, optimize replenishment, and partner with Merchandising, Logistics, and IT to support launches and seasonal changes. Excellent Excel and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Inventory Planning, Retail Planning, or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience in allocation, planning, or merchandise management with leadership ability.
• Strong retail math and Excel skills for data analysis and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end allocation strategy across boutiques and channels.
• Develop pre-season and in-season allocation plans and replenishment.
• Improve allocation tools, systems, and replenishment solutions.
• Collaborate with Merchandising to assess performance and strategy.
• Monitor store performance, trends, and inventory; manage risks.
• Work with cross-functional teams for launches and seasonal transitions.
• Oversee inventory flows from distribution centers to stores.
• Support BOH capacity planning and escalation of risks.
• Provide KPI analysis and actionable insights to leadership.
• Train Store Associates on replenishment tools and processes.
