Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the quality and efficacy of medication use while delivering essential drug information and support to healthcare teams.

Work Schedule

This position operates on a 7-days on / 7-days off schedule from Thursday night to Thursday morning, with hours from 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The pharmacist will work as the sole pharmacist in the facility during the night shift, supported by certified pharmacy technicians.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including monitoring and evaluating the appropriateness of medication therapy.
• Review and accurately dispense medications, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
• Communicate relevant drug information to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Participate in managing drug therapy during medical emergencies, providing necessary medication and information.
• Coordinate the activities of pharmacy technicians to meet patient needs effectively.
• Maintain departmental policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
