Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is hiring an SLP for a 13-week assignment in Los Altos, California. The role runs 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, five days a week, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.

You will provide Speech-Language Pathology services, evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care. The assignment offers competitive pay of $62-$67 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed SLP with current state licensure.
• Experience evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and document progress.

Responsibilities for a SLP:

• Provide Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services to patients
• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and family members on therapy techniques and home exercise programs
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Maintain current licensure and required certifications
• Complete required compliance documentation and training programs
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week of work
