Qualifications

• Master of Arts or Science (Required).
• Master’s degree in one of the listed therapeutic disciplines (Music Therapy, Recreation Therapy, Art Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, Drama Therapy, Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Social Work).
• Clinical internship experience in psychiatric setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Originates, plans, and administers high quality Allied Clinical Therapy to individuals and groups.
• Assess patient functioning level and needs.
• Participates as a member of the treatment team with clinical expertise to create and maintain a therapeutic milieu.
• Develops and presents individualized treatment plans at care meetings.
• Provides weekend and evening programs as scheduled.
• Maintains department records and participates in unit compliance and service improvement.
