Job summary

Florida ENT Associates in Miami, FL, seeks an Allergy Technician to join our clinical team. You will perform allergy skin tests, assist with immunotherapy, and support patient education and safety throughout visits.

You will maintain accurate records in the EMR, coordinate with physicians and nurses, help schedule follow-ups, and ensure a clean, organized, and compassionate patient environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare training is a plus.
• Previous experience as medical assistant or technician preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with EMR systems is an advantage.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct allergy skin testing and interpret results under supervision.
• Prepare and administer allergy immunotherapy (shots) and sublingual immunotherapy.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting test results, treatments, and progress notes.
• Educate patients on allergy management, treatment plans, and medication use.
• Assist with patient scheduling, follow-ups, and care coordination.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
