Florida ENT and allergy is seeking an Allergy Technician (LPN, EMT, or Certified Medical Assistant) for a full-time role at our Brandon office. You will multitask, educate patients on allergy testing and treatments, and support patient care in a fast-paced ENT practice.

The successful candidate shares our commitment to patient comfort, follows allergy protocols, and is willing to travel between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Active EMT, LPN, RN or Certified Medical Assistant licensure is required.
• Minimum two years hands-on clinical experience.
• Willing to travel between locations as needed.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Professionalism towards patients, physicians and team members.
• Computer literate for EMR.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus.

We are currently seeking a LPN, EMT OR Certified Medical Assistant as an Allergy Technician for a full-time position at our ... office. Our practice provides comprehensive general and subspecialty ENT medical and surgical care within the convenience of one medical group. Allergy Technician Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN, EMT or Certified Medical Assistant as an Allergy Technician who is multitask oriented, motivated, able to handle a high volume of patients, be a self-starter and willing to learn all aspects of Allergy and ENT

Allergy Technician Responsibilities:

• Interacting with patients for 20-60 minutes
• Following allergy protocols
• Educating patients on allergy testing and treatments
• Answering patient calls
• Taking patient histories
• Giving injections
• Performing allergy skin tests
• Obtaining authorizations
• Preparing exam rooms
• Sterilization techniques in accordance with CDC, ENTAAF and if applicable Autoclave manufacturer requirements

Allergy Technician Requirements:

Benefits for an Allergy Technician:

• Medical, Dental and Vision: Effective 1st of the month after 60 days of employment.

Physical Demands:

Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of medical equipment and office equipment as required of the position or directed by the Manager. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. Incumbent must also be able to assist patients in transferring from wheelchair to an exam chair, when necessary. Responsibilities may also require the incumbent to travel between ENTA offices for support purposes. The incumbent must also be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
