Job summary

Florida ENT and allergy is seeking an Allergy Technician (LPN, RN or Certified Medical Assistant) for a full-time position to support allergy, ENT and audiology care across locations. The role emphasizes multitasking, patient education, and high-volume patient interactions.

Responsibilities include administering injections, skin tests, patient histories, case authorizations, and strict adherence to sterilization standards. Travel between sites may be required; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years hands-on clinical experience
• Active licensure as LPN, RN or CMA
• Willing to travel between locations as needed
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Exhibit professionalism towards patients, physicians and team members
• Computer literate for EMR

Responsibilities

• Interacting with patients for 20–60 minutes
• Following allergy protocols
• Educating patients on allergy testing and treatments
• Answering patient calls
• Taking patient histories
• Giving injections
• Performing allergy skin tests
• Obtaining authorizations
• Preparing exam rooms
• Sterilization techniques in accordance with CDC, ENTAAF and Autoclave manufacturer requirements
