Job summary

Essentia Health in Duluth, MN is seeking a licensed practical nurse or certified medical assistant to support ambulatory care teams. You will assist RNs, physicians and providers and perform procedures within your demonstrated competencies.

This full-time role requires MN or WI licensure or MA certification with credentialing within one year, and BCLS certification or ability to obtain within 3 months. Typical day shift 7:00–16:00, on-site with possible remote/hybrid option.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Minnesota or Wisconsin, or valid Medical Assistant certification with plan to become certified within 1 year.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in ambulatory care setting.
• Performs procedures within demonstrated competencies.
• Cares for patients from newborn to elderly as age-related categories indicate.
