Job summary

AllerVie Health seeks a Medical Assistant to join its allergy and immunology clinic in Ocala, FL. You will gather patient histories, reconcile medications, update EMR, assist with testing, and support immunotherapy under clinical supervision.

The role requires familiarity with allergy practices, teamwork, and delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Local travel to other AllerVie locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program and CMA certification preferred.
• Experience in a medical setting with patients.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficient in EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs and patient history accurately.
• Assist with allergy testing and immunotherapy administration.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and EMR documentation.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams on patient care.
• Travel to other clinics as needed.
