Job summary

Aurora Allergy in Sheboygan, WI seeks a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join the ambulatory care team. This full-time (36 hours/week) position supports providers, engages with patients, and contributes to a compassionate, safe patient experience.

Qualifications

• LPN or Medical Assistant credential required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 45 days unless exempt.
• GED or HS Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and teammates to deliver coordinated care.

LPN License (state)

MA: Accredited program or 2 years experience

BLS Certification (AHA)

GED or HS Equivalency Diploma
