Job summary

The RN Staff Nurse I at Washington University’s Highlands Plaza Allergy & Immunology clinic provides specialized outpatient nursing care, including injections, immunotherapy prep, vaccines, patch testing, and ILIT support. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN licensure in Missouri and/or Illinois per state requirements.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from a recognized provider.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient nursing care including injections, vaccines, and immunotherapy support.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Counsel patients and families on disease management and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with the health care team.
• Assist providers with examinations, prescriptions, and other patient-care activities.
• Maintain competencies and participate in applicable trainings and CPR.
