Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana, is seeking a Medical Assistant II for the Allergy Clinic. This full-time role supports both clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient flow and quality care.

You will work under supervision with physicians, APPs, RNs, and support staff, performing procedures, administering vaccines when trained, and helping with patient education and preparation.

Formación

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program accredited by CAAHEP or equivalent.
• Other Medical Terminology, Medication History, and New Clinic Staff Class within 6 months and/or prior to testing.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) at hire is required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patient exam rooms, equipment, and supplies based on patient needs and examination requirements.
• Assist with patient scheduling for appointments, diagnostic tests, treatments, procedures, and surgeries; may assist with registration and co-pay collection.
• Obtain and record patient history and vital signs, assist with minor procedures, and document in the medical record.
• Collect laboratory specimens, labeling and handling per department guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; update patient files.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, RNs, LPNs and other staff to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Educación

High school diploma or its equivalent

CAAHEP-accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent

Other Medical Terminology, Medication History, and New Clinic Staff Class within 6 months

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) at hire
