Job summary

Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York is seeking an Allergist/Immunologist to establish and grow a new Allergy & Immunology division within our Midtown Manhattan practice.

You will diagnose and manage allergic/immunologic diseases, conduct testing, develop immunotherapy programs, and work closely with dermatologists to deliver integrated patient care in a high-volume, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy & Immunology.
• Active New York State medical license.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat allergic and immunologic disorders including rhinitis, asthma, eczema, urticaria, and immunodeficiency.
• Perform and interpret allergy testing (skin prick, patch testing, pulmonary function testing).
• Develop and manage allergy immunotherapy programs.
• Evaluate patients for biologic therapies and monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with dermatologists on atopic and inflammatory skin diseases.
• Educate patients on allergy prevention and long-term disease management.
• Participate in development and growth of the Allergy & Immunology service line.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and patient care standards.

Build a Specialty Program Within an Established, High-Growth Practice

Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York is a highly successful, physician-led dermatology and plastic surgery practice located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Allergist/Immunologist to join a team of world-renowned dermatologists, Mohs and Plastic surgeons to establish and grow our Allergy & Immunology division.

This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial physician who is excited about building a specialty service line within an established practice that already serves a large, loyal patient population. Our thriving dermatology office provides a strong foundation for internal referrals and collaborative care for patients with eczema, chronic urticaria, allergic contact dermatitis, immunologic conditions, asthma, allergic rhinitis, and food allergies.

The ideal candidate will be interested in both clinical excellence and practice growth, working alongside leading dermatologists, surgeons, and experienced support staff in a modern, patient-focused environment.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and treat patients with allergic and immunologic disorders, including:
  • Allergic rhinitis
  • Asthma
  • Food allergies
  • Drug allergies
  • Eczema/atopic dermatitis
  • Chronic urticaria
  • Angioedema
  • Contact dermatitis
  • Immunodeficiency disorders
• Perform and interpret allergy testing, including skin prick testing, patch testing, and pulmonary function testing as appropriate.
• Develop and manage allergy immunotherapy programs.
