The U.S. Air Force seeks an Officer - Specialty Allergist and Immunologist to provide expert allergy and immunology care to Airmen, ensuring readiness and peak performance on bases worldwide.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating allergy disorders, interpreting diagnostic tests, and mentoring interns, residents and fellows in allergy procedures while undergoing the Air Force leadership development pathway at Maxwell AFB, Alabama.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an approved school of medicine or osteopathic medicine

On Air Force bases all over the world, Allergists and Immunologists diagnose and treat Airmen who suffer from allergic and immunological ailments. This specialty requires extensive knowledge of a wide variety of environmental factors and allergens to properly care for their patients so they can do their jobs at full strength.
