Job description

Firebird AST is seeking an onsite Top Secret/SCI cleared All-Source Intelligence Analyst III to support the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) in Washington, D.C. The analyst will be responsible for conducting all-source analysis on intelligence and law enforcement priorities. The contract is pending; anticipated award is June 2025.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a technical authority in one or more intelligence disciplines, planning, coordinating, and synthesizing research to prepare and disseminate all-source intelligence products and responses.
  • Determine research methodology and work approach, revising as appropriate to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Evaluate incoming intelligence, identifying pertinent data for review by the Senior Intelligence Officer.
  • Assess and redirect research efforts to maintain alignment with intelligence objectives.
  • Ensure correctness and accuracy of researched intelligence material.
  • Brief intelligence assessments and positions to principals and subordinates, ensuring products fulfill National-level intelligence requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance to staff, conducting complex research and analysis of intelligence, counterintelligence, counternarcotic operations, organized crime capabilities, and trends.
  • Lead the preparation, coordination, and implementation of intelligence production and analysis activities in support of OCDETF operations.
  • Develop intelligence estimates and projections, advocating and defending OCDETF positions within the intelligence, planning, and operational communities.
  • Draft, write, and produce intelligence plans, annexes, and associated appendices requiring management input.
  • Formulate and prepare intelligence plans and security portions of exercises, coordinating intelligence support for joint and combined exercises.
  • Serve as an intelligence representative, liaison, site survey officer, and focal point staff officer for exercises and real-world crisis operations.
  • Maintain liaison with counterparts in other intelligence departments, ensuring coordination and integrity of methodologies across the Intelligence Community.
  • Develop plans and resourcing strategies to meet evolving intelligence communications, network, equipment, support, software, and training requirements.

REQUIRED

  • 4+ years of all-source intelligence experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any related field of study.
  • Experience in one or more intelligence disciplines.
  • Ability to plan and conduct research and analysis effectively.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience providing intelligence support for exercises and real-world events.
  • Strong ability to plan, organize work, and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.

PREFERRED

  • Master’s degree in any related field of study.
  • 6 years of all-source intelligence experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, reports, policy, legal documents, etc.
  • Ability to prepare reports and presentations to company management and customer(s).
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, strategic and innovative thinker, and passion for the mission.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
