AnaVation is seeking an All Source Analyst with SCADA experience to support National Security missions on-site at Ft. Meade, Maryland. The role blends traditional intelligence tradecraft with OT/ICS knowledge to deliver actionable assessments for critical infrastructure.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in DoD/IC environments, familiarity with SCADA protocols, and tools like M3, Palantir, and Analyst Notebook. A polygraph and relevant degree are required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience supporting military or intelligence missions.
• Experience conducting all‑source intelligence analysis in DoD, IC, or combatant command environments.
• Familiarity with SCADA/ICS/OT systems, architectures, and common protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, OPC, BACnet).
• Understanding of cyber threat actor TTPs targeting industrial control systems and critical infrastructure.
• Experience with intelligence and analytic tools such as M3, Palantir, Analyst Notebook, cyber TIPs, or IC security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide All Source intelligence analysis focused on SCADA/OT systems and critical infrastructure networks.
• Fuse traditional intelligence reporting with technical cyber data to assess threats to DoD and national infrastructure.
• Brief senior leadership with actionable intelligence and predictive assessments.
• Support indications and warnings and contribute to cyber defense readiness.

Description of Task to be Performed:

AnaVation is looking for a talented All Source Analyst with Supervisory Controland Data Acquisition (SCADA) experience who is passionate about supporting National Security missions. The idealcandidate appreciates partnering with our customer and a group of intelligence and cybersecurity experts. This positionis full-time on-site in Ft Meade, Maryland.

Position Responsibilities:

This position will provide specialized All Source intelligence analysis focused on SCADAsystems, operational technology (OT), and critical infrastructure networks. Fuse traditional intelligence reporting,technical cyber data, and SCADA/OT‑specific insights to assess threats to U.S. and DoD critical systems, includingindustrial control systems (ICS) that support military, government, and national‑level infrastructure. Leverage yourunderstanding of cyber operations and industrial system architectures to evaluate adversary capabilities, identifyemerging vulnerabilities, and support indications and warning for threats targeting SCADA and OT environments. Thisrole combines core all‑source analytic tradecraft with technical knowledge of ICD/SCADA systems to deliver actionableassessments that enhance situational awareness and operational readiness. Conduct comprehensive all‑source analysis todetermine adversary capabilities and intent, strengthening the predictive and proactive aspects of cyber defense.

• Clearance: U.S. Citizen, SCI cleared within last 2 years.
• Location: Full time on-site in Ft Meade, Maryland.
• Experience and knowledge:
• Five or more years of experience supporting military or intelligence missions.
• Experience conducting all‑source intelligence analysis in DoD, IC, or combatant command environments.
• Familiarity with SCADA/ICS/OT systems, architectures, and common protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, OPC, BACnet).

• Strong ability to synthesize technical OT insights with non‑technical reporting to deliver actionable intelligence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior‑level audiences.
• Clearance: Polygraph within last 5 years
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Engineering or related field.
• Certification: Cyber Security Analyst (CySA+) or equivalent
• Experience and Knowledge:
• Ten or more years of experience supporting military or intelligence missions.
• Experience with cyber operations, threat intelligence, or network defense.
• Experience conducting predictive analysis or supporting cyber incident response.
• Familiarity with OT security assessments, IC incident response, or industrial cyber threat intelligence.
• Training with IC security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800‑82, MITRE ATT&CK for IC).
