Job summary

AnaVation LLC is seeking a talented All Source Analyst with SCADA/OT experience to support National Security missions on-site at Fort Meade, MD. You will fuse traditional intelligence with technical cyber data to assess threats to DoD critical systems, ICS/OT environments, and industrial control networks.

Strong briefing skills and experience with OT architectures are essential for this role. Candidate will collaborate with intelligence and cybersecurity experts to deliver actionable

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with SCI clearance within last 2 years.
• Full-time on-site in Ft Meade, MD.
• 5+ years of experience in military/intelligence missions.
• Experience in DoD/IC environments.
• Familiarity with SCADA/ICS/OT systems and common protocols (Modbus, DNP3, OPC, BACnet).
• Understanding of cyber threat actor TTPs targeting ICS/OT environments.
• Experience with intelligence/analytic tools such as M3, Palantir, Analyst Notebook, cyber TIPs, ICS security platforms.
• Ability to synthesize technical OT insights with non-technical reporting to deliver actionable intelligence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including briefing senior-level audiences.

Description of Task to be Performed:

AnaVation is looking for a talented All Source Analyst with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) experience who is passionate about supporting National Security missions. The ideal candidate appreciates partnering with our customer and a group of intelligence and cybersecurity experts. This position is full-time on-site in Ft Meade, Maryland.

Position Responsibilities:

This position will provide specialized All Source intelligence analysis focused on SCADA systems, operational technology (OT), and critical infrastructure networks. Fuse traditional intelligence reporting, technical cyber data, and SCADA/OT‑specific insights to assess threats to U.S. and DoD critical systems, including industrial control systems (ICS) that support military, government, and national‑level infrastructure. Leverage your understanding of cyber operations and industrial system architectures to evaluate adversary capabilities, identify emerging vulnerabilities, and support indications and warning for threats targeting SCADA and OT environments. This role combines core all‑source analytic tradecraft with technical knowledge of ICS/SCADA systems to deliver actionable assessments that enhance situational awareness and operational readiness. Conduct comprehensive all‑source analysis to determine adversary capabilities and intent, strengthening the predictive and proactive aspects of cyber defense.

Required Qualifications:

• Clearance: U.S. Citizen, SCI cleared within last 2 years
• Location: Full time on-site in Ft Meade, Maryland
• Experience and knowledge:
• Five or more years of experience supporting military or intelligence missions
• Experience conducting all‑source intelligence analysis in DoD, IC, or combatant command environments
• Familiarity with SCADA/ICS/OT systems, architectures, and common protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, OPC, BACnet).
• Understanding of cyber threat actor TTPs targeting industrial control systems and critical infrastructure
• Experience with intelligence and analytic tools such as M3, Palantir, Analyst Notebook, cyber TIPs, or ICS security platforms
• Strong ability to synthesize technical OT insights with non‑technical reporting to deliver actionable intelligence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including briefing senior-level audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

• Clearance: Polygraph within last 5 years
• Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Engineering or related field
• Certification: Cyber Security Analyst (CySA+) or equivalent
• Experience and Knowledge :
• Ten or more years of experience supporting military or intelligence missions
• Experience with cyber operations, threat intelligence, or network defense
• Experience conducting predictive analysis or supporting cyber incident response
• Familiarity with OT security assessments, ICS incident response, or industrial cyber threat intelligence
• Training with ICS security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800‑82, MITRE ATT&CK for ICS)
