Job summary

Live Well Homecare in Texas is seeking a licensed physical therapist to develop and implement treatment plans for patients across all ages, from neonatal to geriatric, in a homecare setting.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team, supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, aides, and students, and ensure safety protocols are followed while supporting mobility and daily living activities, including potential emergencies and irregular hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement physical therapy treatment plans for patients across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric, following standard practices.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Supervise positions including Physical Therapy Assistants, aides, and students/observers.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper use of protective equipment.
• May handle emergency situations and work irregular hours as needed.
• Perform physical activities such as lifting (up to 50 pounds), assisting with patient mobility, and making frequent location and position changes.
• Maintain visual and hearing requirements with or without assistance, and work in environments with potential exposure to infectious diseases, chemicals, and other hazards.
• Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting.
