Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring an Automotive Alignment Technician in the Ithaca, NY area for a full-time role at one of our state-of-the-art service centers.

Technicians use advanced alignment equipment to adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, helping vehicles travel straight and reducing tire wear. Responsibilities include inspections, oil changes, flat repairs and related services, with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent
• State inspection license preferred

Responsibilities

• Use latest equipment to align tires and wheels on customer vehicles.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure straight travel and reduce tire wear.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs as needed.
• Perform other required automotive services or vehicle repairs as assigned.
