Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on vehicle components.
• Perform alignments using up-to-date equipment.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure proper alignment.
• Keep supervisor informed of maintenance problems or issues needing attention.
• Safely operate vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Perform alignments using up-to-date alignment equipment.
• Unload tires from trucks and inspect disposed tires for adjustment.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure proper alignment and move vehicles in/out of service areas.
• Adhere to company policies and use checklists to ensure consistency.

As an Automotive Alignment Technician for Big O Tires, you are responsible for safely and accurately correcting the alignment of customer vehicles. Following proper procedures according to company policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct inspections on vehicle components to identify issues which may affect the accuracy of the alignment process.

Report issues found during inspection or the alignment process to the customer service representative to communicate to the customer

Maintain timely and professional communication with management, and employees.

Keep supervisor informed of any maintenance problems and/or any issues that need attention

Safely operate customer vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions

Perform alignments using up to date alignment equipment

Unload transport trucks and warehouse tires and inspect disposed tires for adjustment

Test Drive Vehicles to ensure proper alignment as well as drive vehicles into and out of the service areas.

Know and adhere to company policies and procedures

Utilize and perform all duties on the company checklists to meet consistent adherence to policies, procedures and expectations

QUALIFICATIONS

ASE Certification

Availability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed

Reliable transportation to work

Ability to learn new concepts and use technical materials

Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery

Capability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles

Willingness to work with hazardous materials and in outdoor weather conditions

Complies with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) regulations

Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or driving) for up to nine hours per shift

Ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds

Ability to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background check
