Introduction to the job
The Algorithms and Physical Modeling Engineer is responsible for technology activities related to algorithms utilizing machine learning, stochastic, and physical modeling methods for electrical and physical defect inspection and metrology with e-beam systems. This position involves close collaboration with HW & SW engineering teams and application teams.
Role and responsibilities
Education and experience
Academic level (Master or PhD) in Information Technology, Software, Physics, Mathematics, or any technical area.
Experience and skills
Minimum 5 years of related experience is preferred, including IC manufacturing, semiconductor process technology, inspection, or metrology. Candidates should be fast learners with strong self-motivation, able to perform at high standards with minimal supervision, and thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
Personal skills
Strong communication skills to articulate complex problems and solutions to customers and senior management.
Team-oriented mindset: collaborative, open to challenging ideas, and caring for colleagues.
The current base annual salary range is $0-0, with pay scales determined by role, level, location, and market data. Compensation is assessed through interviews considering skills, education, experience, certifications, and market factors.
