Job summary

Temu seeks a highly quantitative Algorithm Engineer (Ads) for a full-time remote role. Formulate optimization for cross-channel budget pacing and intelligent bid adjustments across major search platforms.

You will perform complex EDA to evaluate financial impact and use LLMs to generate ad copy and brainstorm keywords at scale, while collaborating with data and software engineers to deploy AI pipelines. A strong background in ML, NLP, A/B testing and statistical inference is required, with

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in a highly quantitative field.
• 2+ years in algorithmic roles, data science, or ML.
• Strong Python and SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and LLMs.
• Solid understanding of statistics, causal inference, and A/B testing.

Responsibilities

• Formulate optimization for cross-channel budget pacing and bid adjustments across major search platforms.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to evaluate financial impact of initiatives and ad creatives.
• Fine-tune LLMs to generate ad copy and brainstorm keywords at scale.
• Integrate multi-modal models to produce visual assets for ads and landing pages.
• Deploy bidding rules, analytical models, and AI pipelines into production with engineers.
