Opportunities For Learning (OFL) is seeking a Tutor to support students in grades 7-12 with math instruction up to Algebra II in a small class or one-on-one setting. The role includes posting tutoring availability and maintaining a regular schedule under supervisor guidance.

The ideal candidate has tutoring experience, basic computer skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent. This is a supplemental support position funded by federal sources for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Math up to Algebra II.
• Previous tutoring experience preferred.
• Proficient computer knowledge and previous experience with Microsoft software.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring and instruction to students within a small classroom environment and/or 1 on 1.
• Post and market availability of tutoring along with schedule.
• Maintain a consistent schedule as arranged with their supervisor.
• Provide support to the teachers as needed.
• Create a tracking system that indicates student appointment times, progress, and areas of improvement.
• Have clear communication with teachers to support students who need additional support in the designated subject area.
