Job summary

Cincinnati Public Schools in Cincinnati, Ohio, seeks an Educational Specialist to launch its Algebra I Pilot Program at Withrow High and Western Hills University High. You will partner with Algebra I teachers to provide targeted, standards-based instructional support and help students build mastery in key concepts.

This full-time role emphasizes data-driven instruction, collaboration, and fostering an inclusive, rigorous classroom culture, with daily pay under the CPS contract and district-wide

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with secondary students preferred.
• Experience tutoring, mentoring, teaching, or supporting mathematics instruction preferred.
• Experience working in diverse educational settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, families, staff, and community stakeholders.
• Commitment to fostering equity, innovation, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted, standards-aligned instructional support to individual students and small groups.
• Collaborate with Algebra I teachers three to four times per week to plan instruction aligned with the district's Instructional Framework.
• Assist in implementing evidence-based instructional strategies that improve student retention and mastery.
• Contribute ideas and instructional resources that strengthen classroom instruction and student engagement.
