Job summary

Proof of the Pudding is seeking an Alcohol & Safety Compliance Manager to oversee alcohol service, safety, and regulatory programs across venues. Based at our Corporate Headquarters in Atlanta, GA, this full-time role requires active TABC certification, experience with TIPS and TABC training, and a track record in hospitality compliance and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Active TABC Certification (required).
• Experience with Alcohol TIPS and TABC training programs.
• Background in alcohol compliance training and enforcement.
• Loss prevention experience in hospitality/events or related environments.
• Experience conducting field audits for bartenders/alcohol service teams.
• Ability to meet/state health requirements for food handlers and alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage alcohol and safety compliance initiatives company-wide for Proof of the Pudding.
• Develop and oversee Alcohol Compliance Training, including TIPS and TABC certification programs.
• Ensure all staff involved in alcohol service maintain current TABC certification and health requirements for food handlers.
• Administer and enforce alcohol license compliance, including applications, renewals, tracking, documentation, and audits.
• Manage field event bartender audits to ensure compliance with alcohol service standards and regulations.
• Develop, implement, and enforce loss prevention strategies related to alcohol service and inventory control.
• Lead regulatory engagement with agencies overseeing alcohol and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate compliance records, reports, and audit documentation.
• Provide guidance and corrective action plans for operations teams when compliance gaps are identified.
• Stay current on changes to state and local alcohol laws and proactively update policies.
