Job summary

Future Elder, an Alaska Native and woman-owned marketing firm headquartered in Anchorage, seeks a Video Production Coordinator/Assistant Editor to support its production team. The role entails coordinating talent, props, schedules, and client communications, and assisting with postproduction.

Some weekend/evening work may be required. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Video/Film Production or related field and have experience with Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects, plus strong

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Video/Film Production or related field required.
Professional production experience with a production company or agency.
Working knowledge of preproduction, production, and postproduction.
Familiarity with cinema cameras and related tech.
Understanding of lighting, audio, framing, and formats.
Basic Microsoft Office skills.
Strong written and verbal communication and organization.
Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

Produce and implement production procedures.
Maintain and grow a talent bank.
Manage production support for all clients as needed.
Participate and take notes during video production meetings.
Ensure all media projects are completed on time.
Manage projects from inception to completion.
Facilitate communication between clients, executives, and creatives.
Plan and execute video productions by coordinating talent, props, schedules, and more.
Assist the senior digital video editor with postproduction as needed.
Provide custom audio for clients as needed.
