Qualifications
- Experience as a News Video Journalist and Editor.
- College degree in Journalism or related field preferred.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Shift is Mon-Fri 5 p.m. - 10 p.m., but must be willing to work flexible hours including mornings, holidays, weekends, and possible overtime.
- Must be able to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Desire to be at work during big breaking news events, weather coverage and special events.
Responsibilities
- Edit video and sound for broadcast and online platforms.
- Ensure accuracy and ethical integrity in editing for news coverage.
- Collaborate with producers and reporters to meet daily deadlines.
- Travel may be required for news assignments/coverage.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
