Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking a skilled GSE Travel Technician to provide onsite support, diagnostics, and repairs across multiple stations. The role demands advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and the ability to adapt to different environments.

The position involves extensive travel, mentoring others, and representing Unifi’s maintenance culture at the highest level. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits are included for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years of experience in GSE maintenance.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools including multimeters, scan tools, pressure gauges.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, hydraulic schematics, and OEM manuals.
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor technicians at all levels.
• Must travel frequently, including overnight stays.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States; pass background checks and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic systems across all GSE types.
• Respond to station requests for high priority or complex repairs requiring senior level expertise.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on repeat failures and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Ensure all repairs meet OEM specifications and comply with EPA and OSHA standards.
• Travel to assigned stations across the network and provide coverage as needed.
• Document all work in CMMS and report parts usage and labor hours.
• Provide training and technical guidance to Technician I–III at supported stations.
• Promote safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
