Qualifications

• Ability to read simple words and numbers; basic arithmetic with money and weights.
• Ability to stand for periods and work in a wet, cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, scraps, trims and fillets product.
• Opens and removes raw materials and places on belts.
• Segregates product by grade, color, and size; places in containers or on conveyors.
• Discards inferior items and foreign material.
• Packs product in boxes, barrels, baskets, cans, totes or crates.
• Operates machines to move seafood rows and packages.
• Maintain workspace cleanliness and safety.
• Performs other similar or related duties as needed.
