Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or related field and two years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Excellent writing and communication skills are essential for translating research for diverse audiences.
• Ability to plan campaigns, manage multiple messaging platforms and collaborate with teams.

Responsabilidades

• Write, edit and design publications translating research for diverse audiences.
• Develop messaging campaigns, outreach opportunities and partnerships to educate Alaskans about Alaska’s food system.
• Plan and implement messages across platforms including social media; coordinate with design for visuals.
• Collaborate with external video producers and photographers to create content; ensure scientific accuracy and accessibility.
• Develop news and feature articles for lay and professional audiences; coordinate releases with communications leadership.
• Support researchers with consistent messaging, branding and ADA accessibility; help meet university standards.
• Build and maintain media contacts to disseminate news and publicity for IANRE and UA.
• Identify opportunities with faculty and administrators to integrate IANRE research into outreach events.
