Job summary

Sportsman's Cove Lodge in Alaska seeks a Seasonal Dock Master to run dock operations, manage fish processing, fleet coordination, and catch reporting. You will work in a remote lodge environment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Track and manage daily fish counts, fillets processed, and largest fish of the day.
• Coordinate fish processing, packaging, freezing, labeling, and shipping.
• Oversee dock and fleet operations, vessel departures/arrivals, and guest loading.
• Deliver a five-star guest experience and maintain a welcoming dock atmosphere.
• Maintain dock facilities, equipment, and workspaces in safe condition.
• Manage inventory for dock, fleet, and processing supplies; report weekly to GM.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Collaborate with guides, captains, kitchen, housekeeping, and management.
