Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Operator I to help maintain optimal operation of industrial refrigeration systems and related equipment in our Alaska-based facilities. You will follow established procedures, participate in inspections, and work closely with the QA/QC team to keep temperatures within acceptable ranges for all product types.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating and maintaining industrial refrigeration systems.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Comfort with following procedures and collaborating with QA/QC teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating the refrigeration system following plant procedures.
• Assist in scheduled mechanical integrity inspections (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Ensure daily logs are documented and submitted.
• Assist in routine service and repairs with Operators or Technicians.
• Assist in pre/post season inventories and training Refrigeration Assistants.
