Job summary

SEARHC in Wrangell, Alaska is seeking a Family Medicine physician to deliver comprehensive primary care within a hospital-integrated clinic. You will diagnose, treat, prevent, and coordinate care for a dedicated patient panel, with support from a nurse case manager and a clinical team.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, no on-call responsibilities, generous paid time off, CME allowance, relocation assistance, sign-on and geographic stipends, and a robust benefits

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Alaska medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine
• Active DEA registration
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive primary care including diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and coordination of care.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in SEARHC systems.
• Delivers high-quality patient care with strong communication and teamwork.
• Participates in SEARHC quality improvement initiatives and meetings.
• May provide services outside the clinic to meet patient needs (home, school, long-term care).
