Qualifications

• Experience as a mechanic with diesel engines preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and diagnostic testing.
• Read blueprints and follow safety procedures.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
• Inspect engines, transmissions and diagnose issues.
• Perform repairs to maximize reliability.
• Troubleshoot problems and resolve them promptly.
• Perform maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems.
• Apply lubricants to machinery components.
• Replenish fluids and components of engines.
• Advise on correct maintenance practices to users.
• Undertake other duties (hydraulic systems, painting).
• Keep logs of work and report issues.
