Job summary

The Alaska Program Coordinator at The Student Conservation Association will oversee day-to-day Corps programming in Alaska, ensuring safe, complete execution of activities and compliance with AmeriCorps requirements. The role reports to the Alaska Program Manager and is based in Anchorage, Fairbanks, or Juneau with a hybrid-remote arrangement.

The position requires supervising multiple corps teams, coordinating logistics with partners, and supporting training and budget tracking.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 3-4 Corps Teams and coordinate with Alaska Program Manager Corps.
• Review execution plans and ensure preparations and monitoring are completed.
• Track incidents and ensure timely reporting per SCA policies.
• Model and foster an inclusive community among crews and staff.
• Coordinate with agency partners for on-the-ground work logistics.
• Assist with member and leader training and field readiness.

Education
