Job summary

Peraton is seeking an experienced Alaska Weather Technical PM to support modernization under the BNATCS contract. Based in Anchorage, you will coordinate engineering execution, field activities, documentation, and customer engagement to advance aviation weather systems.

The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing schedules and risks, and delivering technical reports and implementation packages for FAA stakeholders and partners.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD, 9 years in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience managing complex technical projects involving engineering, infrastructure modernization, telecommunications, aviation systems, or other mission-critical environments.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple organizations.
  • Experience managing technical schedules, risks, action items, deliverables, and customer communications.
  • Experience developing engineering documentation, technical reports, implementation plans, requirements packages, or acquisition documentation.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in dynamic environments.
  • Experience working directly with Government customers and senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering efforts to execute BNATCS weather modernization.
  • Manage project schedules and deliverables in alignment with objectives.
  • Support field site surveys, engineering analyses, and technical assessments.
  • Maintain integrated schedules, risk registers, and action item trackers.
  • Serve as primary coordination point for field survey planning and logistics.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports, recommendations, and implementation packages.
  • Engage with FAA representatives, subcontractors, and installation partners.
  • Track risks, decisions, and dependencies through resolution.
  • Translate requirements into actionable engineering tasks and deliverables.
