COSCO Fire Protection is a full-service fire sprinkler and life safety systems company specializing in installation, service, and inspection of various automatic fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms (life safety systems), kitchen suppression, extinguishers, and special hazard systems across the West Coast. We are expanding our service operations throughout all district locations and offer significant opportunities for service-minded individuals in the fire protection and life safety marketplace.

Position: Sales Representative

The Sales Representative must have experience in the fire alarm industry, including:

  • Conducting sales activities for the Alarm & Detection Department.
  • Formulating and developing sales goals, plans, and procedures for the contract department, and implementing sales strategies as directed by the Department Manager.
  • Executing assigned sales activities.
  • Maintaining competitiveness in pricing and customer service to ensure profitability.
  • Seeking out new customers to expand Cosco's customer base.
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Providing customer service that meets or exceeds company standards to maximize satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Three or more years of successful sales experience, preferably with Fire Life Safety products and systems.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and demonstrated sales techniques.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a territory with minimal supervision.
  • Strong negotiation skills, leadership, and sales achievements.
  • Self-motivated with a client-focused approach and a strong desire to succeed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of codes related to Life Safety Systems.
  • Experience with Edwards EST product line is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Applicants should have 3 to 7 years of experience in similar environments, preferably in the fire alarm and detection industry. The role offers a competitive base salary plus incentives, with options for a company vehicle or a monthly car allowance.
