Job Summary
Under immediate supervision, collects parking fees from customers and monitors parking facilities. May exercise functional supervision. This is a temporary, "unclassified" position with no disciplinary appeal rights to the Municipal Civil Service Commission. It is subject to at-will employment and can be terminated at any time for any reason.

Work Schedule
- Flexible, event-driven hours
- Shift work including days, nights, weekends, holidays as needed
- Major events as required

Essential Job Functions

  • Collect parking fees from customers.
  • Verify and handle cash and tickets accurately.
  • Complete daily reports and deposit receipts.
  • Monitor parking lot and report incidents.
  • Operate communication devices and respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Provide directions and information to customers.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED recognized by the Texas Education Agency or a regional accrediting agency.
  • Cash handling or cashier experience preferred.
  • Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License.
