Job Summary

The Utility/Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen and dining areas. This role involves washing, cleaning, sanitizing, and storing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment. Additionally, the role includes cleaning floors, equipment, and other areas as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service and promote a restaurant-style dining atmosphere.
• Work with the food service director to ensure resident satisfaction with food and dining programs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Wash and store dishes and equipment following policies and procedures.
• Keep the dish room area neat and sanitary.
• Clean kitchen floors and empty trash regularly.
• Maintain the dish machine, ensuring proper sanitizing temperatures and levels.
• Follow cleaning schedules as assigned.
• Assist with food and supply transportation and storage.
• Support cooks and wait staff as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety practices.
• Assist with special events, banquets, and theme meals.
• Help wait staff with clearing tables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Less than high school education.
