ZipStaff Inc. is seeking an Akamai Engineer to support large-scale onboarding at a major pharmacy and healthcare organization.

This role focuses on configuring Property Manager, onboarding applications to the CDN and edge, and validating production deployments under senior engineers. Work is remote within the United States, and the candidate must have 3–5 years of hands-on Akamai experience, with direct portal configuration and DNS/TLS knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on Akamai experience.
• Direct configuration in the Akamai portal, including Property Manager.
• Onboarding applications to Akamai CDN and edge services.
• Production deployment support and troubleshooting on Akamai.
• Collaboration with application teams during onboarding and validation.
• Understanding of DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, CDN, and TLS/SSL concepts.

Responsibilities

• Onboard applications in the Akamai portal under established standards.
• Configure and maintain Property Manager configurations.
• Assist with Akamai WAF and edge security controls.
• Implement origin lockdown and origin-protection configurations.
• Test, validate, and deploy Akamai configurations to production.
• Troubleshoot Akamai, DNS, TLS, and connectivity issues during onboarding.
• Support releases, cutovers, and post-deployment stabilization.
• Document procedures and configurations.
