Job summary

AJC Logistics LLC in Guaynabo, PR is seeking a qualified Truck Driver (CDL-A) to perform local deliveries across Puerto Rico. You will drive the company truck, maintain logs, and uphold safety and service standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of commercial driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Candidates must be detail-oriented and safety-focused to support our logistics operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report within 30 days of presentation.
• Pallet jack and hand truck experience required; forklift experience is a plus.
• Less than 3 minor moving violations and no major violations.

Responsibilities

• Handle local deliveries/pick up within Puerto Rico.
• Plan routes daily and follows those delivery schedules and appointments.
• Complete a daily truck log and submit reports of mileage.
• Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately.
• Manage routes and routines.
• Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business.
• Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.
• Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management.
• Handheld device

The role will drive the company truck, for local and city deliveries throughout the island of Puerto Rico.
