The Department of Correction seeks to recruit 1 Part-time Registered Nurse to support the Applicant Investigation Unit (AIU). The selected candidate will be responsible for providing medical evaluations to candidates applying for the position of Correction Officer. The incumbents will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Administering electrocardiogram (EKG) to potential Correction Officer candidates;
• Administering blood pressure evaluations;
• Preparing medical summary of the candidate's medical status;
• Following up with candidates to ensure compliance with medical requests;
• Maintaining statistical reports for management;
• Collaborating with and is accountable to a Physician for health and medical status assessments.
